Fart Together Team Race Mode

I searched the Steam description, the store categories, and the only news post for the words “team race.” They are not there. The user tags do include Team-Based, which is something players applied, not a mode list. On October 17, 2026 the studio wrote that the full game should bring more characters, more customization, longer courses, and “of course, new modes.” That sentence is real. It is not a ruleset.

The claims, labeled as claims

farttogether.wiki has written that competitive modes support up to 8 players. Gamaloplay has described two teams, two rafts, one track, first to the finish, and has tied that to an Early Access launch. TheGameExtras has said 8 online and 8 local. I am recording that those sentences exist. I am not turning them into instructions, because the page that should own the rules has not printed them.

There is a separate problem with the Gamaloplay page: its embedded build identifies itself as Slide Park .io by FreezeNova. A mode guide on that page is not evidence about GamesMrkt’s design. More on that mismatch is on play online.

What you can plan a party around

Plan for 2, 3, or 4 people online, on Windows, in the demo or after October 29. Do not promise friends an 8-player bracket. If the full game’s mode list names Team Race, this page should change the same day and keep the old wording in the updates timeline.

Questions people ask

Is there an 8-player mode?

Not in any GamesMrkt text I have. Third-party pages say up to 8. I am not repeating that number as a feature.

Is it PvP?

Steam does not list a PvP category. GameBrain does. The store page wins until the studio says otherwise.
