Fart Together demo: free on Steam

I opened the demo store page, app 5208630, on October 22, 2026. It was free, already released, and Windows only. The review API at 13:37 UTC that day showed 394 reviews, 350 positive and 44 negative. The full game page lists full controller support; the demo page does not repeat those controller categories, so I am not going to promise a gamepad works in the demo until the settings screen says so.

What the demo listing confirms

App 5208630 is typed as a demo, is_free true, coming_soon false, and dated October 8, 2026. macOS and Linux are false. It carries the same 17-language set as the full game, in a different order, plus five screenshots and one trailer.

On October 17, 2026 GamesMrkt wrote that the demo had passed 3,500 people online at once and 20,000 wishlists in under a week, and that they were patching from feedback. I did not find a separate patch-note feed. The updates page keeps that timeline.

What I will not invent

Older write-ups guessed a 15–55 minute demo. I could not find that range on an official page, so it is not repeated here. Gamaloplay’s “4–5 hours” line is about a build that is not this game.

Achievements are not listed on the demo. Download size is not listed. The 4 GB figure on the requirements table is free disk space, which is covered on the system requirements page.

Questions people ask

How long is the Fart Together demo?

GamesMrkt has not published a length. The only timed public run I can cite is a verified Speedrun.com Demo Any% of 1:00:30.090, finished October 21, 2026 and verified the next day. That is a practiced run, not an average session.

Do I need to pay or enter a key?

No. The demo page’s action is Download Fart Together Demo inside the Steam client. It is a separate free app from the full game.
