Fart Together raft steering and fart timing
The raft moves from everyone’s force, direction, and timing together. The studio’s line is to fart at the right time, not harder. Checkpoint rules and gas numbers are not documented.
I went through the six official screenshots looking for a steering UI I could name. I can see a timer, a green bar with a hippo icon, a round counter (the frames show values such as 3), a CHECK POINT sign, and a FINISH gate. I cannot see what the green bar spends, or whether the round counter is boosts, laps, or lives. GamesMrkt has not labeled them, so I will not label them either.
What the studio has actually said
Everyone’s input lands on one raft. Narrow passages, sharp turns, and moving obstacles ask the crew to speed up, slow down, or act on the same beat. That is the whole public design note. The quoted line, from the Steam description, is: “The secret isn’t farting harder. It’s farting together at the right time.”
A third-party page suggests a short countdown, staying quiet while you glide, splitting left and right, and preferring short bursts. I am mentioning those tips only as someone else’s advice. They are not in the Steam description, and the page they came from embeds a different game. See play online.
How I would practice from the screenshots
The START gate frame is the place to notice the shared meter before the first turn. The canyon frame shows spiked mines in a narrow line, which is where one person steering alone would shove the raft into a wall. The CHECK POINT frame is four hippos under one sign, still on one camera. The FINISH frame adds a ramp. None of that is a numbered combo.
If you are in the demo, agree on the line before the turn, then match the blast. That is as specific as the official text allows. Bindings, when you find them, belong on the controls page.
Questions people ask
Should one player hold the button?
The store text says the secret is not farting harder. It says to fart together at the right time. I do not have a measured “best burst length” in seconds.
Do checkpoints restore the raft?
A CHECK POINT sign is visible in an official screenshot. The respawn rule is not written down. I am not going to invent one.
