Does Fart Together have local co-op?
Not confirmed. Steam lists online co-op and does not list Local Co-op or Shared/Split Screen. Official screenshots are one shared camera. Some databases claim split-screen anyway.
I read the category list on app 5117550 twice, because other sites state local play as fact. The categories include Multi-player, Co-op, and Online Co-op. They do not include Local Co-op, Shared/Split Screen, or Shared/Split Screen Co-op. The requirements note says a stable internet connection is required for online co-op. All six official screenshots are a single frame, not a divided one.
Why other pages disagree
TheGameExtras has claimed local play for 8 people and split screen. GameBrain has listed Local Multi-Player and Split Screen. farttogether.wiki talks about a shared raft without producing a Steam category. Those sentences cannot outrank the store metadata. I am leaving the mode as Unconfirmed.
The screenshots matter here because they are the studio’s own frames. Four named hippos share one canyon view. That supports “one raft, one camera.” It does not prove a second controller can join offline.
If you specifically need the couch
I checked store pages for games that do print local player counts. Ready, Steady, Ship! is 2-player local and has no online multiplayer. Moving Out is up to 4 local. Overcooked! 2 is up to 4 local and online. Boomerang Fu is up to 6 local. Those are recommendations with their own pages on Steam, not features of Fart Together. Details sit on games like Fart Together.
Questions people ask
Can two people play on one PC?
GamesMrkt has not said so. I will not turn a missing category into a yes or a hard no. The confirmed mode is online co-op.
Is Remote Play Together listed?
I did not see that category on the store page at capture. I am not assuming it.
